About

I’m Serkan Aktan, an architecture student at ENSAPVS (Ensa Paris Val de Seine) passionate about the intersection between architecture, computation, and the systems that shape our environment.

Influenced by both architectural design my mathematical background, my process is birthed through relationships and systems rather than working with isolated objects. I am particularly interested in computational methods as a way of investigating architecture, not simply as a complex forms generetor, but also to understand how form can appear from different types of interaction.

I see architecture as something that can emerge rather than simply be imposed. Shaped by invisible forces, I find myself translating these conditions into systems that produce living spaces. Rather than treating computation as a tool for the design of predetermined forms, I use it as a mean of questioning how architecture is generated.

The role of the architect becomes less about controlling every outcome and more about defining relationships while establishing conditions and guiding a process of emergence.
